For the Fourth Term of 3D Visualization, I was tasked with creating a beer advertisement. While we were given some specific requirements, there was plenty of creative freedom for everything outside of the brief.
I initially chose to work with Devil's Peak beer, but after discovering they didn't have a high-quality label available, I switched to Field House Brewing instead.
The concept for the animation starts with a bottle of beer being opened by a metallic bottle opener, with branding clearly visible in the shot. The framing can either be from the side or slightly top-down. As the opener removes the bottle cap, it falls to the floor, spinning, until it settles to reveal a secret code printed on the inside. A flash occurs, and the camera pulls out to reveal that the bottle cap with the secret code is now displayed on a mobile device. The mobile device spins around, another flash occurs, and the camera pulls back once more, finally settling on the beer bottle and glass for the packshot.
