For this project, I was responsible for creating a complex engine animation that transformed a static 2D illustration into a dynamic 3D (or 2.5D) motion sequence. The animation showcased the engine breaking down, followed by the introduction of new oil, which revitalized its performance and increased its speed. This was a technically challenging task, requiring precision in movement, timing, and depth simulation to achieve a visually compelling and realistic effect.
I worked collaboratively within a team of designers who provided design direction, ensuring the final animation aligned with the project’s visual style and objectives. My role involved developing the animation workflow, integrating motion principles to enhance realism, and refining the breakdown and restoration sequences for maximum impact. The result was a high-energy, engaging animation that effectively communicated the importance of proper engine maintenance.
